Amsterdam king’s palace and Dam square

Dam Square lies in the historical center of Amsterdam, about 750 meters south of the main railway station Centraal Station. Dam Square is connect to the streets DamrakRokinMuntplein (Mint Square) and the Munttoren (Mint Tower). The Dam also connects the wellknown shopping streets: Nieuwendijk, Kalverstraat and Damstraat. On the west of Dam Square lies the Royal Palace, the 15th-century Gothic Nieuwe Kerk (New Church) and the Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum.

The National Monument, a white stone pillar to memorialize the victims of World War II, it’s on the opposite side of the square. See pictures below:-)
